About me
David Molik, PhD, is a Computational Biologist PI with the USDA Agricultural Research Service, Arthropod-borne Animal Disease Research Unit. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame Integrated Biomedical Sciences graduate program, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute undergraduate Information Technology and Web Science program. Dr. Molik studies computational methodologies in genomics, virology, and entomology. He is a certified carpentries instructor having taught workshops with USDA ARS, SciNet, Kansas State University Libraries, Texas Digital Libraries, and University of Notre Dame Navari Family Center for Digital Scholarship. He has also contributed to Research Data Alliance and AgBioData working groups and received the AgBioData Data FAIRification award.
Dr. Molik was also a sailor and an Eagle Scout.
