Spack is a software management tool that greatly simplifies the installation of scientific software on both supercomputers and personal computers running Linux or macOS. This workshop focuses on hands-on examples in an HPC environment. Participants will learn how to build software packages in user space.
Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with the command line is recommended.
Important: A laptop is required to participate. ISU students can borrow a laptop through the library’s Tech Lending program.
